Nearly 100 titles span nearly four centuries, available for on-site viewing or through special arrangements with a librarian.

The wonderful thing about dressage is that there’s always something new to learn. The time is well worth it if even a single, solid concept, exercise, or lightbulb moment is gained. So, when the weather sucks or you can’t sleep in the middle of the night, pick up a book and learn something!

  • Over 300 titles in Main Collection available for loan to VADA members.

  • Almost 100 titles in Special Collection for on-site viewing in Williamsburg, VA or by special arrangement.

  • Some books (denoted by a ‘*’ in list) do not have to be returned.

  • Checkout period of 6 months.

  • Shipping costs to member covered by librarian, return shipping covered by member.

  • Donations of used horse-related books accepted.

  • Recommendations for new titles welcome.
